Well, the photograph speaks for
itself!

are sold by and purchased from
Microsoft.
Over 3,000 Microsoft Partners
worldwide to support your
software. No more being held
hostage by one company with 2
people.
Future Platform

Microsoft Dynamics™ NAV
is the world's leading mid-range

means you are investing in a
business platform that will
always keep you in the forefront
of what’s ahead.
Microsoft Dynamics NAV is highly

down the road
Dump
QuickBooks, Peachtree etc!

Microsoft Dynamics™ NAV
is a complete ERP system with
built-in FINANCIALS + BUSINESS
MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE + JEWELRY
FUNCTIONALITY/COMPONENT all in
ONE! Your company will operate
from ONE piece of software while
getting rid of all those other
software packages currently
cluttering your systems.
Roadmap

Unlike the competition, every
couple of years or so,
Microsoft issues a roadmap for
Microsoft Dynamics NAV platform with plans to
develop, upgrade and support this
robust
ERP system. The current roadmap
which runs beyond 2017 will see
New
Application Enhancements, Role Tailored .NET
Programming
Environment, Client Richness and
Visualization, New Reporting
Functionality, Office 2014,
SharePoint user, more software
services, Dynamics User
Experience Leadership,
Time-To-Value. More users, More
Productive, etc.
Pricing:
Quality is not cheap!

Although Dynamics NAV pricing
can be more than what most small
vendors out there sell, the
return on investment (ROI) is by
far worth the investment.
Enterprise systems are
complex and sophisticated in how
they perform but they are easy to
learn and use because most
people are already familiar with
Microsoft screens, feel look and
menus as in Office, Suite which
has outlook, excel, word etc. So
the price reflects these
capabilities, unique
functionalities, options, support
and how robust they are.
Any NAV specialist can
support you

You can hire any Dynamics NAV
specialist (over 20,000 in
Linked-in
alone!) to support you at your
own rate and don't have to call
Microsoft partners if you
prefer. Just think about that.
It's like being able to ask
"anyone" for help with your
software! How many software
vendors can say "Just about
anyone out there" can indeed
support their solution?
Integration with Microsoft products

With close visual and functional
ties to Microsoft
Windows 7, CRM and Microsoft
Office Suite (Excel, Outlook,
PowerPoint, Visual Studio etc.),
Microsoft Dynamics™ NAV is
easy to learn, simple to use,
and quick to implement.

Wait a minute! Is this vendor
working from home?
The Competition
Hostage Crisis!

In most cases, you are dealing
with a small vendor, a one
company based at one location.
In most cases, they have created
their own software using access
or FoxPro platforms from
scratch. If they go out of business, you
are on your own. If they are in
business, they are the only ones
capable of supporting and
maintaining your software -
hence, hostage factor.
Outdated Platforms

Most vertical vendors are
in the business of selling
systems that are built/written
on FoxPro (Which BTW
Microsoft no longer support as
of 2006), Access, UNIX based
solutions
and many other outdated
platforms from the 1980s and
1990s. While they might entice
you to purchase their newer SQL
versions, the bottom line is
that you are purchasing an old
car with a new body. It's always
going to be a game of cat &
mouse as Independent
mom & pop venders cannot
afford to spend freely as
Microsoft does in order
to improve their in-house software
packages. If
they do, you are paying
for it!
Islands of Software! Really?

Like many other businesses, you
probably have QuickBooks or
Peachtree for your financials
and some other industry specific
software for your production,
orders, inventory etc. It's
called "Islands of
software." How can you
keep track of all of them?
Updates, compatibility issues,
bugs, discontinuation etc.
Instead, just get ONE Solution
from Microsoft.
No Roadmap

Most independent vendors don't
have any roadmaps for their
software solutions.
In-fact,
they always depend on what Microsoft
does in order to plot their next
move! How many times have you
heard a vendor saying you will
need customized work or a patch
for the software to run on
Windows "7" or to talk to an
RFID software, or a label
Printing software or and EDI
program? The very fact that they
have to come up with new SQL
versions rests my case. So does this mean every
time Microsoft releases new versions of Windows, you will
have to dish out more money?
Pricing:
You get what you pay for!

Functionality and support is
more important than pricing.
While most independent vendors
are able to offer their
solutions at a 'cheaper' price,
the truth is - "you get what you
pay for!" You can buy a
car and you can buy "a
Mercedes!" Both will get you to
point B. But one will brake down
on the way, you will have no air
conditioning, it will be a gas
guzzler, it will have no power,
navigational, stability and
safety features etc., but it
will get you there... some day,
but it's no Mercedes!
Can anyone support
theirs?

I don't think so! There are
hundreds if not thousands of
independent vendors with
thousands of different
customized software solutions
out there. Other than each
particular vendor for each
particular solution, how many
people know each and every one
of those systems in order to
support you? The answer is
impossible!
No Integration!

They have to write
patches! patches! and more
patches! because their systems
are NOT COMPATIBLE with other
Microsoft products! This
translates into more money!
money! money! for you to come up
with!
Shortcomings Summary

- It's hard to
learn and maintain
new programs that are
written and supported by
individuals versus those
that are supported by
financially sound
corporations such as
Microsoft.
- It's hard to
implement programs
that won't talk to other
programs, won't talk to the internet and
require more money in order
to program basic standard features.
- It's hard to
depend on one
person to service, support
and customize your software.
What if they go out of
business?
- Packages that
cannot be
customized to fit your
business will force you to
change the way you do your
business...
and eventually end up
affecting your profit
margin.
- It's hard to run
your business if
you have to come up with
more money every time
Microsoft releases new
versions of Windows, Server,
Office Suite etc.
- It's hard to run
your business from
3 or 4 different pieces of
software at once. The data
is never accurate, the left
hand never knows what the
right hand is doing and the
potential for errors and
costly mistakes is much
higher. The ERP
concept has eliminated this
problem by running the
entire business from one
centralized database.
- It's hard to
talk to 3 or 4
different tech-support
personnel from those 4
software providers when you
have problems while with
Microsoft, you only talk to
one tech for all issues.
