Integration

Matriks Doc is fully integrated with Navision Financials. Using the built in merging possibilities to Microsoft Office and Lotus Millinnium, you are able to edit, save and retrieve these document types directly from Navision Financials.

Matriks Doc version II Technology and Installation

Simplicity

Matriks Doc is built on already known technology. Consequently, only a minimum of training is required in the use of Matriks Doc. Users do not have to define C/ODBC queries; they just use or create templates.

Compression

With the built in file compression you are ensured efficient use of the Navision Financials database. In average the files are saved in ¼-th of the original size. Equivalent to about 6.000 documents pr. 100 Mb.

Security

Matriks Doc has the same level of access and user security as Navision Financials. When you backup your Navision Financials Data you will automatically backup your documents at the same time.

Document Journals

Document Journals enables Matriks Doc version II to work with scanning applications like Adobe Capture Version 2 and OmniPage Pro Version 9. With Matriks Doc version II you can fetch all kind of documents, view- and "post" them into Navision Financials, just as if they were ordinary ledger entries.

OLE

Matriks Doc is an OLE Automation server built on Microsofts Common Object Model. This means that it requires a 32-bit platform like Windows 98, NT or 2000. Matriks Doc version II supports all OLE documents and viewing of all registered file types like PDF, html, MP3, Doc, GIF, etc.

Navision Matriks Doc uses Navisions automation controller and therefore it only runs on Navision Financials version 2.00 or newer.

Database

Matriks Doc version II uses the Navision Financials database, therefore you get no hidden maintenance cost on external databases.

Installation

The Matriks Doc client must be installed with a license file on each client, just like Navision.
